History

Picotte Performance is in business since 2004. That year, Pascal Picotte decided to open a Yamaha motorcycle shop that would build on his expertise and knowledge acquired during his successful career as a motorcycle racer.

Pascal Picotte’s career in motorcycle racing started in 1986. For the first few years, Pascal traveled across Canada with his Yamaha to win some races, but it is only in 1991, after a third place in a Superbike championship in Mexico that his talent were noticed by a representative of Ducati. Pascal won a championship in 1992 in AMA series with Ducati, and this was the beginning of a successful North American career. From this point, the guy from Granby, also know as "the comet", continued to race against the best with the biggest teams, such as Kawasaki, Suzuki and Harley-Davidson, and came back in Canada with Yamaha in 2003.

During all those years in the world of motorcycle racing, Pascal Picotte was supported by a team of motorsports specialists sharing the same passion for performance, and whose expertise and know-how is undeniable.

Today, Pascal Picotte is behind the wheel of his own company, and with the determination and efforts of the great team he has put together, Picotte Performance is certainly one major reference in all of Canada for motorsports products and services.
